Sync indexed status?

My Zotero library successfully syncs, but the number of attachments reported as indexed / partial / not indexed is different on two synched computers. I would like the search index (not just the numbers, but the data used to search for keywords) to be the same on both computers. Does a difference in the reported numbers for indexed status mean that the search index on each machine is different? I don't know where the index information is stored, so I may be asking this question in the wrong way.

Also, I would like the status of each attachment as indexed / partial / not indexed to sync between the computer. Is this possible?

    syncing happens locally, so no, the status doesn't and shouldn't sync. I would expect search results to be the same across computers, but the search index isn't synced.
    It's hard to say why the numbers are different.
    You're using file syncing? Do you have different systems?

    In a future version indexing will either be triggered automatically or the index will just sync, but neither of those are the case now.
