Upgrade StorageConverting linked files to copies in my data directory
I have a folder with my .pdfs in it (2300+). Entries in my Zotero library link to these .pdfs. Is there any way to mass convert these linked files to stored copies in my data directory, or will I have to do each one manually?
I have searched for this and suspect the answer is manual conversion, but most results were over two years old. Thank you for your help.

dstillmanThere's not a way to do it automatically, but you can drag files directly into Zotero to create stored copies. (Right-click, Show File, drag onto parent item.)

dstillmanWhat you want to do is certainly scriptable, but you'd need someone able to write JavaScript and brush up on the Zotero JS API to do that. If you're really looking at 2300+ files it's probably worth holding out for that.
