Exporting into .bib for unsung LyX

Hello

I have troubles using my exported library with LyX, I can't get in working, I have a "package inputec" error. I'm using Zotero with preference Unicode UTF8 and BiBTeX format to export the library. If I use a former version of my library (.bib as well, encoded in UTF8 as well) it works. It seems the formatting changed in the last months. Can you help me?

    my guess would be that you need to do more troubleshooting yourself and see how the respective export differs. Best we know, Zotero's bibtex output is standard compliant.
    I'm not much of a latex user, but my understanding is that standard bibtex can't handle UTF-8 and that seems to include at least older versions of LyX. That would produce the inputenc (sic!) error.

    UTF-8 is not supported by latex on the systems that I have (Macs and Linuxes). Export in ISO Latin 1 and it will work.

    Also, check out lytero.

    Thanks a lot, problem solved ;-), I was using Windows and Ubuntu before and UT8 was working on both.
