Is there an Un-Do feature....

....to retrieve highlights deleted when working with a snapshot of a webpage?

It's happened a couple of times, my mealy-keyboard skills!

Are there any other re-do functions to be aware of?
  • Grrrrrrrrrrrrr
I double clicked on an item which has inadvertently highlighted the whole document, in effect deleting the selected pieces I have highlighted.....

.....so same call for help. Is there an un-do feature for text highlighting when working with snapshots of webpages?

    Yours, patiently!
  • There is a ticket for a deleted items folder but I think this is the first request for a undo function for highlighting and annotations of archived pages. It does not seem to be as imperative as the deleted items folder, but if there is enough interest we could create a ticket.
  • There's a very old ticket for undo functionality, and there was some progress towards it in early betas of Zotero, but there's no such functionality at the moment.

and playing around with this further prompts the question, do I need to have the ability to blanket the whole of the document as a highlight? Doesn't that defeat the object of highlighting [the object being to signal out specific pieces of information/text from a mass of words]

as a matter of 'plan B' I have resorted to using the comments buttons to the side of the text. I would of course prefer to be highlighting....

    one for the developers

[thank you for this system, it really has opened up a world for me]

[thanks for the replies I've just seen above]
