Upgrade StorageZotero in Firefox and Microsoft Word errors

After installing a recent firefox update, my Zotero will no longer work alongside firefox and microsoft word. Whenever I open Firefox I recieve a message that says that there was an 'error' in opening Zotero and that I should make sure Microsoft word is closed, and then restart firefox. (I receive this message even when Word is already closed). It still lets me save citations but as I try to use the Word plug-in, I get another message which says that "zotero does not have the correct component for your word processor."
Anyway, if anyone has any suggestions that would be amazing!

dsanaderYes I did! The problem persists, though. I've also double checked to make sure all the software is up to date.

psigilHi. I had a similar problem which I fixed by directly removing the Zotero plugin by going to the file my username/appdata/roaming/microsoft/word/startup/. When I then resinstalled the plug in by installing Zotero standalone it worked OKish. But there is a bug that I might report if I can't find a solution in these pages.
