Cannot sync library to my new computer

I've just bought a new computer. I can see my library when I'm logged into zotero online. I downloaded zotero, but my library isn't syncing.

When I click on "sync" I get a window that wants to sync the zotero quick start guide, but nothing else.

Your help is appreciated.

    "I get a window" - syncing works w/o a "window" - that might just be a merge conflict? Anyway - click "OK".

    Also - you're sure you have the right username in Zotero on your new machine?

    I'm using the right username. My password should be the same as my regular zotero password?

    Yes, I get a window that says "conflict resolution"

    Local object = Zotero quick start guide
    Remote Object = "deleted"
    Merged object = zotero quick start guide

    On my new computer the only item in my library is the quick start guide.

    What should I do?

    you'll need to pick one of the three - and click continue or OK (whatever you need to click to accept your choice).
    This is expected behavior if you have deleted the quick start guide in your Zotero library, so no worries.

    Thanks! It worked. I was just worried I was going to replace my library with the welcome documentation.
