Quick Copy and Styles

Hi,

i have troubles when i install a new style, "tah Geistes- und Kulturwissenschaften (German)" for example. The "Standard Export Format" Dropdown in "Preferences" -> "Export" -> "Quick-Copy" is empty and inactive after the installation of the new style. I can't click it.

When I restore the styles at the "Advanced" Tab in "Preferences" everything works again. But after the next installation of a new style everything the same.

I hope someone can help me.

As a start, upgrade Firefox - FF7 does no longer receive critical updates&bugfixes, it's somewhere between hard and impossible for us to troubleshoot with outdated FF versions.

And you're not seeing this with any other style (if you haven't tried - please do)?

Can you provide a report ID after installing the problematic style and getting the empty menu?

@adamsmith: I've tried this with other styles too. Now I found out, that the "preinstalled" styles aren't working too. When I reset all styles, the preinstalled are shown in the drop down menu, I choose one (e.g. IEEE) and close the preferences window. When I open it again, the drop-down is empty and inactive. So I have to reset all styles again.

There are no Zotero errors in there. Are you sure you generated that after reproducing this, before restarting Firefox?

Restart Firefox, reproduce it again, and immediately submit another Report ID.

Also, try disabling your other Firefox extensions.

Disable the SEASR plugin. No Report ID needed.

I added at note to the plugin page - it would be great if someone could point the SEASR developers to this.

After deleting SEASR everything is fine.
