Upgrade StorageProblems updating my document (rep. id 626677816)
I experience problems when trying to change the zotero document setting preferences/refresh the zotero references in my document. I get the error message: "Zotero experienced an error updating your document
TypeError: This parameter must be a string or Unicode object"
I don't know how to fix this problem, but I need to be able to refresh the references in my document and would appreciate your help.
I use zotero 3.0.1 for FF in combination with word 2011 for mac.

SimonIf you have a document or fraction of a document that consistently produces this error, send it to support@zotero.org and we'll take a look so we can fix this for future versions. For now, however, you can probably fix the document by following these instructions.

DrumphillThank you for your help. By following step 8 of your instructions I managed to find the problematic citation - actually it was the same citation occuring several times in a row: "(UVM 2003, s.23)(UVM 2003, s.23)(UVM 2003, s.23)" even though I can't remember having placed a citation there in the first place. It didn't fix the problem, just to delete the citation though, instead I had to delete and rewrite the last few words of the sentence at the end of which the problematic row of citations had appeared. But rewriting the last few words fixed the document, so the problem seems to be solved.
