zotero file rename not working for pdf ( but works for html)

Zotfile 2.0 and Zotero3.0.1. Defaults for Zotfile unchanged.

If I drag and drop html from firefox browser to zotero it automatically renames it.

If I convert a web page html using 'save as pdf' plug in, and then drag and drop saved pdf into zotero, no renaming happens even if I select manage attachments/rename.
Am I doing something wrong here?

    Are you sure you're looking at the actual filename (displayed in the right-hand pane), not just the attachment title?

    Beyond that, you'll need to provide exact steps to reproduce.

    If I understand you correctly, you're also relying on Zotfile to rename pdfs. If that's the case, you should report this on the Zotfile thread and Joscha, Zotfiles creator, will have to troubleshoot.
