Zotero has stopped working after Firefox v10 upgrade

Zotero has always worked perfectly for me. Today, mysteriously, the format of Zotero changed to the new format instead of the classic format. And I could no longer edit citations to the exact same document that I could the yesterday. I have opened new word documents and zotero does not work. Error message is that there is an integration error.

I am running firefox 10, latest versions of zotero, Mac Lion, and Word 2011. Please help!

no, that actually is from the old document. I just closed word and zotero and reopened everything and now the old document will insert a message but it gives me this every time I try to insert a citation:

The Zotero field code for your bibliography is corrupted. etc.

delete the bibliography and re-insert it.

actually I spoke too soon. the document crashed again after my fourth citation inserted...there is a long string where it basically says a field code in the document is corrupted.
