Using same Zotero library on Mac with OS X AND WinXP?
First, you guys absolutely rock. Zotero has really helped me move my research forward more efficiently. For me, it's a fantastic program and a pleasure to use.
I use a Mac with both OS X and WinXP. I run WinXP through VMWare's Fusion program.
Since I CAN view pdf's directly in Firefox in XP on my Mac, do you think it would create any problems with my Zotero files if I used the same Zotero folder/directory/library in both OS X and WinXP with the two versions of Firefox?
In my case, I would not be running the Win Firefox and the OS X Firefox at the same time, I would alternate. Most of the time, I would work in the OS X Firefox/Zotero and switch over to the Win Firefox/Zotero just to view and annotate PDF's. I just wonder if writing to and accessing the same Zotero files from a WinXP version of Firefox and a OS X version (at different times) would corrupt Zotero in any way?
Anyone, anyone?

seanAs long as Firefox isn't running in the other OS, there should be no problem. But if you forget to close the application on one end, you run the risk of corruption on the other.
