New User Question Regarding Storage of Copyrighted Material

I'm wondering if I can use Zotero to sync legally obtained copyrighted material onto my idisk and/or Zotero server for other authorized users to access.

For example, if I purchase sheet music in pdf form, can I upload it to my Zotero server legally if the only people accessing it are authorized to do so?

    Generally, you, and not Zotero are responsible for complying with copyright law.
    There is no objection from Zotero's side to uploading copyrighted material to their servers - I'd assume at least half of the files on the Zotero server are copyrighted.
