How to turn off date parsing?

Hi,

I'm using Zotero 2.1.10. Is there a way I can turn off Zotero's date parsing, either for some resources or across the board?

I have complex date fields that I would rather have passed through 'as is' to the document I'm footnoting.

Any hack or workaround is welcome. Thank-you!
