capturing websites: metadata and PDF
Hello,
I have just started looking at Zotero and I would specifically like to use it to capture relevant websites for my research. Since I use Bookends for the Mac I would periodically like to export the db and import it into my Bookends db (via RIS export/import)
I wonder about two things:
1) when capturing a site with Zotero I notice that the date of access is put in the db but not output in the RIS file. For correct citing, let's say, a newspaper article one would need both the date of an article and the date it was accessed. I understand that capturing the date of the article depends on the metadata of a site, but could the date of access be part of the RIS output. This saves time manually editing.
2) I also wonder if there will be, or perhaps somehow exists, a possibility to capture a site as a PDF with Zotero, in addition to the current capture mechanism?
Thanks and best,
Gerben Zaagsma
