Import is not working anymore! Did I change preferences?

During the last month I have imported many txt-files - 1700 books.
To-day Zotero rejects new files - and also the old ones, saying: The selected file is not in a supported format.

Did I change something in the preferences:

It looks like the program is missing something some part of the program itself.

I have a healthy copy at the server and also a backup.

  • No relevant errors there. How about a Debug ID for the import attempt?
  • ID = 1947110991

This is probably due to a change in Firefox (or, for Zotero Standalone, in XULRunner). It will be fixed in 3.0.3, which should be available shortly.
  • But for now, you should be able to save your file as UTF-8, or copy the contents to the clipboard and use the "Import from Clipboard" option.
