Removing PDF attachments from citation

I have added multiple PDF documents to Zotero using the Retrieve Metadata for PDF function. I now realize that I will not have enough storage space to add many more sources to my library. Is there a way to remove a PDF attachment from a source but keep the source and all the associated information?

    note that you need (paid) storage space only if you want to sync the pdf attachments with your online library of Zotero or another computer. Local storage is unlimited, as is the syncing of the data.

    And yes, if you really want to, you can delete a pdf attachment by just selecting the attachment --> right click --> Delete selected item from Library.

    I can't see the attachment in order to select it. It is not visible in either online interface or the Firefox window. Where am I supposed to be seeing the attachment?
