Mac Word 2011 + Zotero 3.0 = Nothing :-(
I'm running Snow Leopard with Office 2011, Zotero 3.0 installed on Firefox 10.0 with the current python version and current Word connector. When I'm in Word and click insert citation it does nothing. No error message. No window. Nada.
When I close Word it gives me the error "Word cannot fire event"
I updated from 2.1 and did not uninstall anything first so I don't know if that makes a difference.
I have restarted Firefox and Word as well as rebooted but still nothing.
I also deactivated the Firefox plug-in, closed Firefox, downloaded the stand-alone 3.0 version and installed the current Chrome connector to see if that would work and it also does nothing when I click the insert citation button.
The buttons are not technically "in" the Word toolbar also. They tuck up under the apple in the top left. I can't take a screen shot with Skitch as the second I click on another application they disappear only to reappear when I click back on Word.
Looking in the settings of Chrome the only error I can see is:
[javascript error: "undefined is not a function" {file: "chrome-extension...zotero.js" line 91}]
Any thoughts or suggestions? My dissertation thanks you in advance.
