Creating collection from saved search

How can I create a collection from a saved search?
I've tried selecting items from a saved search and dragging them to an existing collection, but I can only drag one at a time.

Select only the parent items and drag those. Click an item in the middle pane, press "-" to collapse all parent items, and then drag.

(It's possible there could be a context-menu option to easily create a collection from a saved search.)
