Problems updating Word doc.

I received this error mesage when I was trying to update a Word document:
"Zotero experienced an error updating your document
this.state.registry[myIds[i]] is undefined"

Does anybody know how to solve this problem?

    Hi,

    the following has worked for some of our users

    create a new document.

    enter a "dummy" Zotero reference in the start

    copy and paste the document that gives you the error in the new document

    remove "dummy" Zotero reference

    save the document

    you can now work with it
