Upgrade StorageMac Plugin Compatability Issues: Word 2011 and Firefox 9.01

I use mac osx 10.7.2, and after installing the latest version of Firefox (9.0.1) I get the following error message each and every time I open Firefox:
"Installation could not be completed because an error occurred. Please ensure that Microsoft Word is closed, and then restart Firefox."
I get this message even when Word isn't running. I have tried to restart both Word (I have the 2011 version) and Firefox; I have also tried restarting my computer and reinstalling Python and the Zotero for Mac Integration plugin, but this makes no difference. Although my Zotero seems to work with Word most of the time, the formatting is often distorted both in the bibliography and the footnotes. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

SimonCan you generate a report ID immediately after starting Firefox? There are no Zotero errors in this one.
