Ancient sources
As far I know, Zotero 2.1.1 supports no option which adds ancient sources. Sources such as following, should in historical studies therefore inserted manual:
Homer, History III.3.
Josephus, Jewish War II.3
Augustine, The City of God XII.
It would be great if users could add new objects called 'ancient source'. This would solve the problem. But attention: the ancient sources should not be included in the bibliography. They form a special category. Anyone who wants to take the ancient source in his bibliography, adds the work there in which he consulted the ancient source, for example:
Augustine, The City of God against the Pagans. Translation by R. W. Dyson. New York: Cambridge University, 1998.
Again, if this does not exist, does anyone of you know how it is possible to propose this idea to the development team?

adamsmithThis is a known limitation and has been proposed numerous times - it's not easy to implement so it's not going to happen soon, but devs are certainly aware of it. For past threads on this, search the forum e.g. for "classical sources"
