APA citation style insertation problems

Hello,

I have problems when inserting several citations into word. Sometimes (not with all citations) it happens that there are appearing fisrt names in the text though there should just be the last name:

Figlin u. a., 2008; Robert J Motzer, Bacik, & Mazumdar, 2004

normally it should look like this:
Figlin u. a., 2008; Motzer, Bacik, & Mazumdar, 2004

This problem also seems to be related to the author name "Motzer"?!?
Did anyone have this problem before?

    Is there another Motzer cite in your document somewhere? If so, and if they are the same person, make the names exactly the same. If they are different people, the style is doing what it's meant to do.

    you were right, that really was the problem. There was not always the same first name for the same person...
