Style request
Hello,
I am looking for the citation style for "European Polymer Journal" from Elsevier. This style is defined as follow :
All publications cited in the text should be presented in a list of references following the text of the manuscript. In the text refer to references by a number in square brackets on the line (e.g. Since Akovali[1]), and the full reference should be given in a numerical list at the end of the paper.
References should be given in the following form:
1. Akovali G, Rzaer ZMO, Mamedov DG. Plasma surface modification of polyethylene with organosilicon an organotin monomers. Euro Polym Jnl 1996;32(3):375-383.
2. Scherowsky G. Ferroelectric polymers. In: Nalwa HS, editor. New York: Marcel Dekker, Inc., 1995. p. 435-537.
3. Noshav A, McGrath JE. Block copolymers overviews and criteria survey. New York: Academic, 1977.
This is the link to the style guide: http://www.elsevier.com/wps/find/journaldescription.cws_home/294/authorinstructions#68000
I did not find a link to a free sample paper but this is the link of the journal: http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/journal/00143057

These are the differences I found for the chapters references with the style I am looking for:
-it is not a semicolon but a comma before the date
-for the reference to the chapter, it is written: "Dans" (french version) instead of "In"
These are the differences I found for journal articles references with the style I am looking for:
-numbers in the references list are given in square brackets like numbers in the text. There is no point after the numbers in the references list
-in the text, references numbers are not in exponent
-there are journal abbreviations for journal names composed with several words. For example:
-"Macromolecular Bioscience": Macromol Biosci
-"Journal of Applied Polymer Science": J Appl Polym Sci
-"European Polymer Journal": Eur Polym J
-"Macromolecular Materials and Engineering": Macromol Mater Eng
-"Journal of Polymer Science Part A: Polymer Chemistry": J Polym
Sci Pol Chem
-"Journal of Polymer Science Part B: Polymer Physics": J Polym
Sci Pol Phys
I don't know if you need more examples for journal abbreviations.

It just misses "In:" before the name of a book for book chapter citation

Btw. the styleguide on the EPJ is not equivalent to Elsevier Vancouver, though the style that M. describes seems like it is Elsevier V.
EPJ:
2. Scherowsky G. Ferroelectric polymers. In: Nalwa HS, editor. New York: Marcel Dekker, Inc., 1995. p. 435-537.
Elsevier Vancouver:
[2] Scherowsky G. Ferroelectric polymers. In: Nalwa HS, editor. New York: Marcel Dekker, Inc.; 1995. pp. 435-537.
Also Elsevier Vancouver contracts page numbers (375-83) and EPJ does not.
