New Item Type for Kindle eBook

I'm beginning to like Kindle eBooks for the similar reasons that I prefer PDF over paper. I think the merits of ebooks are being recognized by the academia as well. The Chicago Manual of Style and the APA have provided citation format for ebooks. (http://booksprung.com/how-to-cite-a-kindle-ebook)

In light of this technological transformation, can Zotero add a new item type for (Kindle) eBooks?

    Notwithstanding what the old style guide publishers say, it doesn't make much sense to add a separate type, nor one specific enough as "Kindle eBook."

    I'd suggest this could be handled in a "medium" and/or "edition" field under the existing "Book" type.

    I'm with Bruce - the way things shape up we should probably make sure to include a medium field, though.
