Firefox German - Zotero English... how to????

My desktop environment (OpenSuse 10.3, KDE 4.02) is entirely set to German, with the exception of OpenOffice which is set to English. I would also like to set Zotero to English (UK), but keep Firefox German. Is there any way to achieve this?

    Doesn't seem to work. I've tried both versions, en-us and en-US, the language is still set to German....

    Did you restart Firefox? And note that that setting will only affect the language used in bibliographies.

    Oh, I see. I had expected that the language of the GUI would change to English, too. But as long as the bibliographies use English, everything else is of little importance. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction :-)
