Endnote Features in Zotero/word-add-in?

Dear all,
I have gone through zotero, but I couldn't find some main features that I always used in Endnote. Could you please tell me, if I just did not find these features or if they are not existent - is it planed to integrate the features in a next version?

1.) Is there the possiblity for in-text citations in zotero? For example: blablablabla (Fischer, P: page 7). Blablabla....
I just found Foodnotes and Endnotes?
2.) Are there some main Endnote-Shortcuts within zotero as well?
- Shortcuts to shift between zotero and word. In Endnote possible with Alt+1
- Shortcuts to insert citation. In Endnote possible with Alt+2. In zotero only possible by using the buttons in word-add-in?

Many thanx for your help.
Dominique

Yes, there are several ways to add in text citations. You can use the keyboard short cut (Ctrl + Alt + A on a PC or Comand + Shift + A on a Mac). These commands copy the citation to your clipboard allowing you to paste it anywhere you like. You canconfigure your style through the preference pane and under the export tab.

The Word and Open Office plugins also allow you to add in text citations. See http://www.zotero.org/documentation/zotero_and_word

If you are using the Word plugin your Zotero collection will toggle in and out of view whenever you add a new item.
    Shortcuts to insert citation
As mentioned previously there are several key commands for copying references and citations to your clipboard. (You can see all the key commands Shortcut Keys tab of the preferences pane. Currently the Word plugin does not have any keyboard short cuts, if there is enough interest in this kind of thing we can create a ticket for it.
