Adding PDFs

My problem seems to be adding PDFs. I have to manually add PDFs form the congressional research service, from my hard drive, and from jstore. I can't even get the New York times to automatically load. Since these are the types of locations where I obtain a large percentage of my data, I am finding zotero a hard sell. Why should we continue to try to use zotero. It definitely is not making life easier. It just is not working for us.
  • I don't understand what you're saying exactly, if you want help, you'll need to describe more precisely what you're trying to do and what you expect Zotero to do.

JSTOR would usually add pdfs - you may have to manually download one pdf per session. This may not work for Zotero standalone which is in beta.
The New York Times doesn't have pdfs for recent articles - we don't, as of yet, have automatic pdf download for historic articles (nor does, to the best of my knowledge, any other software). As with JSTOR, you should reliably get article data though (which really is the main part that should make life easier for you).

I have no idea what you mean by the Congressional Research Service - maybe you're referring to the opencrs database? That's not supported by Zotero as of now.

I also have no idea what you mean by adding pdfs from your hard drive.
