Style Incorrect/Style Request: Molecular Psychiatry

Hello and first of all: I'm delighted with zotero. Thank you for this great tool!
It seems to me that the bibliography of the Zotero Molecular Psychiatry Style follows the Nature Journal format. Instead references should be based on Vancouver according to the author guidelines (see below).

These are the differences to the Zotero Vancouver style I noticed:
- Journal names should be abbreviated without periods.
- There should be no period before "et al." (after first six authors) but "et al." should be italicized.
- Volume numbers of journals should be bold and not followed by issue numbers.
- Pagination should include full numbers for first and last page.
- Citations should be superscripted, with multiple sources listed one after another with comma and blank inbetween.

Furthermore, it would be great, if there was additionally a style for Molecular Psychiatry - Letter to the Editor, which not includes titles of articles.

Is there anyone who can help?

Thank you very much.
Hedwig

The author guidelines:
References should follow the Vancouver format. In the text they should appear as numbers starting at one and at the end of the paper they should be listed (double-spaced) in numerical order corresponding to the order of citation in the text. All authors should be quoted for papers with up to six authors; for papers with more than six authors, the first six only should be quoted, followed by et al. Abbreviations for titles of medical periodicals should conform to those used in the latest edition of Index Medicus. The first and last page numbers for each reference should be provided. Abstracts and letters must be identified as such. Papers in press and papers already submitted for publication may be included in the list of references but no citation is required for work that is not yet submitted for publication.

  • thanks - I'll have a look, likely after thanksgiving.
  • OK, those to styles are up now. There's a comma before et-al that can currently not be removed, everything else should be fine. Any problems let me know.
