Error Report ID: 1021407307

I'm trying to sync and I was asked to choose between numerous sets of local and remote files. After that I was given a rundown of what changes had been made to various folders. After the sync was supposed to be complete, I received a message that there had been a problem. I restarted by computer, tried to sync again but received the same message. I think the problem could be (1) that it's been a long time since I've done a sync and (2) that I use Zotero from two different computers (but almost always use different folders and files in these two locations - folders/files for my job and folders/files for my school work). What can I do to get past these problems and get my files to sync properly?

  • Unexpected file upload status 400 in Zotero.Sync.Storage._onUploadComplete()
    1) Just keep trying. That's a file sync error, so your data is continuing to sync, and that may just be an intermittent error, possibly due to a network glitch.

    2) Check your system clock and time zone.

    3) If the problem still occurs, provide a Debug ID for a sync attempt that produces the error.
  • Thanks for the direction. I checked my system clock and time zone - everything appears in order. I ran the sync again following the instructions for a Debug ID.

    The Debug ID is D1817861845
  • Is that supposed to show an error? That just looks like everything completed successfully.
  • Oh, I assumed there was some type of error because I got a Sync Error message again (the exclamation mark next to the sync button).
  • What was the message?
