cursor keeps jumping to citation in word document

After I inserted my first citation (chicago manual) into my word document, my cursor will not leave the footnote and I cannot continue typing in the main document. This is the first time this happened. How do I fix this?

    I have not heard of this kind of issue before. When you restart word does it persist? If so, what version of word are you using?

    Had the very same problem with word 2007 (Vista) and Zotero 1.0.3 Restarting Word fixes it. Only happened the first time I worked on a Word doc with Zotero and never returned...
