How do I share an entire collection with subfolders?

This seems like it should be easy, but I can't figure out how to do it. How do I share a collection? I don't want to share my entire library, but I have a folder with several sub-folders that I'd like to share. I can't seem to just share the whole thing, only individual documents. Can anyone help?

    dragging entire collections from "My Library" to a group is only possible in the beta version of Zotero (which is quite stable, though).

    Different privacy settings for individual collections and/or items aren't possible at all at this time.

    Thanks, that's helpful! A bit disappointing, but also kind of a relief to know this is an actual issue.

    unless you have too many subfolders the way to go (in Z 2.1.x) would be to recreate the collection structure in the group and then, for each (sub)-collection, to select all items (ctrl+a) and drag them over to the group. Obviously a bit clumsy, which is why dragging collections has been made possible in the 3.0b version.

    Quick question on this. After a collection has been dragged to the group, will it be kept on sync? That is, if I add a reference to that collection in my library, will the same reference appear in the group's collection?
