Inline fields not recognized when copied to new documet
I am working on a large, multichapter report with multiple authors. I am now copying and pasting everyone's subsections into a new master document. I would like to create one giant reference section (currently all authors have their own zotero generated biblios at the end of their respective subsections). However, in the new masterdocument, it appears that the fields are not recognized as such--they show up gray as I would expect a field to do--but I can not generate a new master reference section and I can not edit existing fields which is a problem as subsection authors have been editing in the new masterdoc.
Is there a way to get these fields to be recognized as such in the new masterdocument (created by copying/pasting text with inline fields) without going through and reinserting 700+ references?

ajlyonYou usually need to insert one citation manually, using the insert citation button, before pasting in citations. Otherwise, though, this should work.

adamsmithyou first need to set the citation style in the document preferences or insert one citation into the master document. Then copy&paste should work.
