creating a bibliographic entry from an url

Maybe I am missing something, but when I saved a url and tried to create a bibliography Zotero failed to do so. Since more and more data and information is directly published on line, as opposed to in a book or journal article, I think it would be helpful Zotero could make bibliographic entries for url's as well as for journals and books. Thanks.

    Maybe I'm not understanding what you and needing, but I think clicking the "create new item from current" icon should give you what you want. That creates a web page item.
