Zotero No Longer Integrating with Word for Mac 2011

A day or so ago, the icon at the btm right corner of Word for Mac 2011 vanished and I have not found specific information on how to get it back. I'm new to Zotero (2.1.10) and had yet to try out the bibliography creation feature. Now, that does not appear to be possible as integration with Word seems to be lost.

I'm running Mac OS 10.6.8 and Firefox 7.0.1. I attempted to download and install the standalone version of Zotero without success and went with the Firefox integrated version, instead. Hopefully, someone can guide this newbie through the hoops to fix the problem. Anyone?

    There has never been an icon in the bottom right corner of Word for Mac. The Zotero menu for Word Mac 2011 is in the apple script menu:
