Articles as part of edited books - only manual adding?

Sorry for newbie question
I am reading a useful book that is an edited collection of contributions. I already have the ref for main book (Cambridge companion) in Zotero. I have seen how one can add editor, contributor with little buttons in Info section, but how do I individuate in order to be able to generate an additional entry within zotero itself that says ‘Nostromo’(the name of the article/section), Knapp Hay, Eloise in The Cambridge Companion to Joseph Conrad, ed Stape, J.H. ?

(And how does this work when it comes to citation?)

Do I have to add a whole manual record as a 'book section'?? typing in all the details from The Cambridge Companion?
  • Duplicate your item (The Cambridge Companion) then change the type of your duplicated item from "Book" to "Book Section".
  • What Gracile says, but to be clear, yes, each chapter from an edited volume is a separate item - using duplicate item just prevents you from having to repeat most of the information.
Hierarchical items are planned, but that's a long way out.
