Zotero doesn't sense records in Google Chrome

I’ve recently started using Google Chrome as my browser, and installed both Zotero Standalone 3.0b2.1 for Windows and the Zotero Connector 2.999.1 for Google Chrome. But nothing’s working. Zotero in Chrome doesn’t sense records from any library catalog at all (not even from Amazon): the usual icons don’t appear in the address bar, and the Zotero Standalone doesn’t have the icon to “Create New Item from Current Page.”
It doesn’t seem to be a translator problem since when I switch back to Firefox and use Zotero installed there, everything works perfectly as before.
Can someone please tell me what can I do?
