how to get items out of trash back into collection

I accidentally deleted some items, they are now in trash, but refuse to come out! all the buttons for adding them to collections are 'dead'. this should be easy to solve, right?

    There is a "Restore to Library" button in the right-hand panel when you select an item/several items in the trash.
    I know that's not very intuitive.

    Click on the item you want to restore, then click "restore to Library" button located at the top of the right-hand pane.

    Thanks, but this all assumes I'm working on a computer where Zotero is downloaded and installed; is it also possible to restore to library when I'm simply working online in my account? Because there is no 'restore to library' button there..
