Greek alphabet

In certains website, letters of greek alphabet arent not recognize, it's possible to solve it ?

    Make sure you're using the latest version of Zotero (2.1.10), and select "Update Translators" from the Zotero preferences. There was a change in the encoding used by ScienceDirect, but we've already made changes to accommodate.

    nope, doesn't work for me (on 3.02b1 with updated translator. I get
    α,β-
    instead of the α,β-
    Using RIS export from the same site works fine (though w/o abstract).

    It's working for me, but I suppose it's possible I have some local changes. I'll look into it.

    adamsmith: Does that happen even if you manually install the latest version? The version on Github does have the encoding set correctly. https://github.com/zotero/translators/blob/master/ScienceDirect.js

    ah yes, that one works correctly, sorry, should have checked myself. Apparently it's just not being sent to clients.

    save the file ajlyon links to to the translator folder in the Zotero data directory http://www.zotero.org/support/zotero_data , replacing the old file with the same name. This should work correctly.

    It's possible updated translators are currently pushed to clients only when the timestamp has been changed.

    That would explain it-- this was such an obvious cause that I applied the fix manually, instead of my usual approach of opening the site and exploring using Scaffold (which automatically updates the timestamp when it writes).
