Upgrade StorageZotero references buggered up in text
Hello all I hope you can help because this issue is a major one. Basically word failed (started scrolling madly up and down in a document I was working on) and when I opened up the document again all the references were incerted in the text with the full code. An example: add inZotero_item(citation)..., etc, etc. I cannot regain the proper format of the reference initially incerted by right clicking and updating the field and I've also tried editing the reference (which shows the reference correctly in the edit window) but clicking ok does not change the code in the text into the proper reference. What's worse is that it appears that this has happend to ALL my word documents. I cannot redo all the references in hundreds of documents so I need to know how I can get things right again. Anyone got any ideas? Help!

arggemDid you try Toggling Field codes (Right click context menu) or ALT-F9 to toggle field codes in the whole document?

Linda J SorensenJust in case anyone else has the same problem I found the solution. Its basically a word problem not a Zotero problem and one must go to tools>options>view and uncheck the "field codes" option there. Appearently word had ticket this box randomly which then presented all the codes, which should have been hidden, in the document. Phew!
