plug-in for Word stopped responding

I've been using Zotero with Word for many months, and it just recently stopped working. In Word, I can click on any of the Zotero options in the "Add-in" menu, but none of them do anything. Word itself still works fine, just not Zotero.

    If they don't help, see if you can provide an error report ID from the gears menu in Zotero.

    The toolbar *does* appear - I've got the "Add-In" menu in Word and I can see all of the usual options (like to add a reference). But when I click on any of the options in this menu, nothing happens.

    it's not clear if you tried re-installing word components?
    If you did w/o success - which OS and Word version?

    I re-installed *everything* from scratch and rebooted. Shouldn't have to do that, but it did eventually work.

    most likely you didn't have to do that either, but I'm glad it's working again.
