Simonedited August 23, 2011In your start menu, type (or paste) %AppData%\Microsoft\Word\STARTUP and delete the file Zotero.dot. Then restart Firefox.

acjones02I'm using Zotero 3.0b2 have been encountering the same error message. I've followed the above directions but have had no success. Could this have to do with using Zotero 3.0b2? Suggestions of where to go from here?

SimonYou don't have access rights to your Word startup folder. Try the manual install instructions.

acjones02Our startup folder is located on a network drive which will affect everyone on the network, is there another place to copy this?

SimonIf you can figure out how to make Word load the template without copying it to the startup folder, then you can set extensions.winWordIntegration.installed to true in about:config and it will work. I'm afraid I can't provide any more help than that.
