Date viewed not available in Chicago Manual of Style

I thought that the Chicago Manual of Style, as the MLA style sheet, requires the data on which a web site was viewed. I can't get this functionality to work. Am I doing something wrong? Date viewed works in MLA.
  • Chicago 15th edition recommends not including date accessed:
    17.12 Access dates
Access dates in online source citations are of limited value, since previous versions will often be unavailable to readers (not to mention that an author may have consulted several revisions across any number of days in the course of research). Chicago therefore does not generally recommend including them in a published citation.
