I have entered authors in my Zotero database in the same way, last name in one box, first name in another, however when refereneing in the text authors are referenced differently sometimes first names are included, other times they are not, sometimes the first name is given as an initial, other times it is family names also.

Is ther a check box to say exclude first names from referencing (obviously they're needed in the Bibliography?
