APA 6th edition-font size in zotero bibliography

Hello
My zotero created bibliography at the end of my document is showing up in Times New Roman 10 pt, when it should be showing up at Times New Roman 12 pt. I'm using APA 6th edition style. Any ideas why this might be happening? I've tried highlighting the entire references section and changing the font to 12 point font, but if I use the zotero refresh button, the font size reverts to 10 point...

Thank you in advance.

  • I tried the solution, but the font size still reverts to Times New Roman 10pt after zotero refreshes...This is the first document I've created (using add-ins) that lists the reference in 10 pt font...
  • Are you sure you're modifying the word style that is using for the bibliography? Zotero doesn't overwrite that style.
  • I'm not sure I understand what you mean. I followed the instructions for Word 2007 (http://www.zotero.org/support/kb/word_default_font), but it still reverts to 10 pt font if I click zotero refresh. I've tried to save the document (with 12 pt saved), then after reopening and editing citations, I noticed the font size of the bib was back to 10 pt...
  • There is a style assigned to the bibliography in Word. It's probably called "bibliography." are you changing that or are you changing "Standard/Normal"? (You should do the former.)
  • Okay, thank you-that worked. I'm not sure how it changed to 10 pt font in that one document, but I updated it. Thanks again for your help.
  • cool, glad that's all sorted out.
