Mac WinWord Plug-in and Firefox 5

Hi,

We're trying to install the WinWord Plug-in on our lab Macs running OS 10.6.8, Office 2011 and Firefox 5. We get the following error when attempting to do the install:

"zotero winword integration could not be installed because it is not compatible with firefox 5"

Any suggestions? I thought that the 3.1.6 was compatible with Firefox 5 as long as OS 10.6 or higher was installed.

    The error message here is inaccurate, but Firefox is doing what it's supposed to do in preventing you from installing the plugin. You are trying to install the WinWord plugin (the Word for Windows plugin) on a Mac, which doesn't make much sense. If you install the Word for Mac plugin, it should work.
