Having issues after upgrading Zotero/LibreOffice/Firefox

OK, not quite sure what happened, but I think my firefox did an auto update, and then suddenly my Zotero integration with my LibreOffice did not work. So, I upgraded it all, and it still did not work. I have trawled the troubleshooting for days, tried everything I can find, have deleted all 3 programs many times and started again, but still nothing. I keep getting the messages below, but sorry, do not understand what is meant by the wizard to correct the installation. Im not very technologically adept, so can someone please help? I have an assignment due in a few days and cannot add my referencing!

The version of the Zotero OpenOffice.org Integration component installed within OpenOffice.org, LibreOffice, or NeoOffice does not appear to match the version currently installed within Firefox. Would you like to attempt to reinstall it?

Please ensure your OpenOffice.org installation is properly detected. If you continue to experience this error, click the "Manual Installation" button within the wizard to show the directory containing the OpenOffice.org component. Double-click this component or add it from within OpenOffice.org, LibreOffice, or NeoOffice to complete the installation procedure.
  • Could you clarify what you have tried so far?

So, for "Would you like to attempt to reinstall it?" you presumably selected "Yes" (or "OK" whichever it is), right?

On the next screen you should see folder that point to your Ooo installation. Try just clicking OK.
If that doesn't work, try clicking "Manual Installation" next and then follow the instructions here:
    http://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_troubleshooting#installation_error
  • On clicking OK for would you like to install it, I get this message.

Zotero experienced an error updating your document.

'[JavaScript Error: "win.ZoteroPluginInstaller is not a constructor" {file: "file:///C:/Documents%20and%20Settings/Grant/Application%20Data/Mozilla/Firefox/Profiles/9h97dn2x.default/extensions/zoteroOpenOfficeIntegration@zotero.org/components/zoteroOpenOfficeIntegration.js" line: 211}]' when calling method: [zoteroIntegrationApplication::getActiveDocument]
  • I should clarify, that it all appears to be intact until I actually try to reference something within LibreOffice, then I get the error messages above. My zotero is there and also apparently functioning, however on trying to USE the integration software, which I also installed and uninstalled and reinstalled, I get the error message.

I am very confused about this "Manual Installation" the message says about, as I have already installed it all, and like I have said, it appears to be all fine until I actually go to do a reference, then it won't do it and has error messages. I do not know how to find the Manual Installation it tells me to do, sorry. What I have done so far is upgrade all the programs (firefox/zotero/libreOffice) and also the integration software for these to work together, then when they did not, I uninstalled it all and tried again, but still error.
  • And thanks for the answer and that link, but I have already tried all of that, have spent 3 days now trawling the site trying everything that is suggested, but nothing works. But when I go to activate the integration, it is telling me that it is already there, and that it is installed, and that it is all working, but it is not!!! Im so stuck...
  • Actually, fixed it, finally, after 3 days and tearing nearly all my hair out! I had to pray, lol, then suddenly figured out to go into LibreOffice and remove the actual integration software from the Tools, Extention Manager, then reboot, then go into Firefox and reinstall the integration software again, then reboot again and then finally, voila, SHE WORKS!!!!
