Saving items from public group libraries on Zotero website

Hello all, I'm testing out the Safari plugin for Zotero standalone 3.0b1 on the Zotero web site. When I am viewing a public library (both when I am logged into the web site and when I am not) I don't see the plugin detecting anything on the page. Shouldn't that be working? Please explain. Thanks!

    Zotero works by having a collection of translators that read data from web pages. Apparently, there is no translator for the Zotero site.

    If you want to test that the connector works, do a search on Google Scholar. It should detect articles and show an icon in the address bar.

    There is, but it's almost certainly broken, and it needs to be rewritten in any case, since the API mode it used has been deprecated.
