Upgrade StorageWebDav Syncing Timeout but only on a few items

I've been using Zotero successfully through a webdav sync service on both PC and an Android reader (thanks to Zoo for Zotero). But recently I came across a couple PDFs that cannot be fully synced online: only the .prop files containing bibliographical information are updated successfully, but the .zip files containing the actual pdfs are not synced at all.
PC Zotero doesn't display any error message when this happens, but Zoo for Zotero always shows a "java.io.InterruptedIOException: timeout" after around 10 seconds of trying to upload the newer version of the file.
This issue has only occured to a handful of books. They are all under 100mb, and I only try updating them one at a time, so webdav limitation on upload limit isn't the problem.
Has anyone encountered similar issues before? What is it about these files that may trigger the error message?
