Zotero retrieves metadata related to a cited ISBN, rather than to the paper
Good afternoon,
I downloaded my paper (https://joss.theoj.org/papers/10.21105/joss.03467#) and "drag&drop" 'd it to Zotero, where it gets automatically labelled as 'ggplot2: Elegant Graphics for Data Analysis' by Wickham.
I found this discussion (https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/57418/retrieve-pdfs-metadata-wrong-metadata-source) suggesting that Zotero might be 'grabbing an ISBN from the bibliography. We may be able to try to prevent that -- it's only looking for ISBNs on the first 10 (I think) pages, so this wouldn't happen for regular length articles.'
I think this is exactly what is happening in my case. I tried to use Mendeley and an online service (https://www.metadata2go.com/) to check whether the issue was with the file, but they get the correct metadata.
Is there a way to fix this behaviour upstream?
Thank you for your time.
