Update issues

I have downloaded the current update (5.0.96) on mac but when I try to open the application it says I need Zotero 5.0.97-beta.46+4cfa23050 or later. I am unsure how to access this update

You previously had the Zotero beta installed, and you'll need to install the latest beta version until the next major release of Zotero later this year.
